Achieving the highest standard
This badge of excellence means Volcanic has achieved the highest standard of information security, in support of the world's recruitment industry.
Our clients have long recognised the incredibly stringent standards we set ourselves in delivering technology and service excellence. Now, this has been independently validated through ISO 27001 in recognition of best practice.
Information security takes on new significance in our climate of data privacy within the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Clients expect consistently secure technology as well as an ongoing commitment to protecting their data, and their customers’ data.
Data security is paramount
It’s never been more important to protect the data and secure the systems throughout your organisation. Cyber-attacks have become more prevalent and sophisticated, supply chains are more complex, and the volume of important information handled continues to increase.
Clients are starting to look for the ISO 27001 badge as a stamp of international best practice. If you have achieved ISO 27001, you know you are operating above and beyond the GDPR.
We first took the strategic decision to become a globally accredited business by gaining the well regarded ISO 9001 standard in 2016. Now, we’ve stepped up a level. ISO 27001 demands stringent process security and information management across the whole company.
Volcanic gained ISO 27001 certification following an extensive audit of its Information Security Management System, which underpins the Volcanic operation. Every decision the business takes involves understanding the risks around how introducing a new person, product, feature or process could affect information privacy and security.
This latest accreditation underlines the Volcanic #ApplyYourself culture of continuous improvement, reinforcing our commitment to information security and our focus on maintaining industry-leading practices.
I'm so proud of the hard work and dedication that the whole Volcanic team puts in every day to ensure we never stand still in pursuit of excellence.
ISO 27001:2013 is one of the most well-regarded and accepted standards for information security management systems. The International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) is an independent, international organisation that brings together experts to share knowledge and develop consensus-based international standards.
