How to manage job types

Job Types are different types of status that define the job contract. For example: Contract, Permanent and Freelance are all job types. 

 

 

Why use Job Types?

Using job types allows you to reference jobs by different statuses that, in turn, makes it easier for your candidates to filter down the right job for them on the job search. 

 

How do I manage Job Types? 

Step 1. Firstly, make sure you are logged into the Volcanic admin area. Secondly, scroll down to "Reference Data", click there and then click "Job Types". 

 

 

Step 2. Click on "New Job Type". 

Step 3. Fill the relevant information in including, for example, Freelance and then in the import reference place the exact same thing as freelance. 

 

 

Step 4. Click "Create Job Type", you have now successfully created a job type for your website.

Step 5. Ensure jobs posted include Job Type. Any new job types added will appear in the drop down under "Job Type" on the new job form.
