Introduction to the Page Tree

Our page management system provides you with the tools to effectively manage an unlimited number of pages across your recruitment website. This video introduces the Page Tree feature, which gives you visibility of all of the pages on your website, and enables you to re-order pages and amend your page hierarchy.

In this video I am going to be talking to you about what your Page Tree is, and how you can use it.

Firstly, let me show you how to get there. So in the admin screen of your website, go to - in the top menu - Your Website, and then within the Content section, go to Pages.

You will then arrive at this page here where you will find your Page Tree at the bottom.

So your page tree essentially presents your site map. You can adjust the order of the pages in your site by clicking, dragging and dropping the page into position. Now it's important to note that re-ordering your pages does not reposition where they appear in your site navigation. So to change your site navigation, you would go up to the Settings menu, and within the site section, click on Navigation.

Back to your page tree, you can either view your page tree either with all parent pages expanded to display all pages, like it is currently. Or you can view it in a collapsed view, showing just parent pages.

To amend page hierarchy, drag a parent page to the right to make it a sub-page, or you can drag a sub-page to the left to make it its own parent.
