Hello from Claire
Another busy and exciting month for the team at Volcanic!
We have had some really fascinating conversations about our client's future plans and building solid partnerships going forward. We look forward to sharing the vision and reality with you all over the next few months. The team here are all busy learning how we can utilise this upgraded platform to support our clients in the best way possible.
It’s been a year of change here at Volcanic, and a number of our team members joined their first-ever Staff Day with The Access Group. A great time was had by all with some inspiring messages given from the leaders of Access along with some recognition of the hard work put in by the Volcanic team.
We also said a sad goodbye to Alison Dwyer, our long-standing Global Marketing Director, who I'm sure a number of you had the pleasure of meeting and working with. Not just a stalwart of the industry, she served as a friend and mentor, both for the Volcanic team and the wider industry. It's been a pleasure working with her, and I hope you will join us in wishing her all the very best for the future.
That's a wrap from me and I hope you enjoy this month's Newsletter. As always if you have any questions please feel free to reach out to our team and we will be happy to help.

The Psychology Of A Website That Attracts Leads
The visual cues that convince a candidate to continue a journey online to an actual conversion are quite fascinating, and highly relevant to ensuring your website serves as an effective lead generation portal.
Topic of the month: Mobile first
Mobile-first recruitment websites; the ultimate conversion tool?
Google says you have to go mobile-first. So that parks any argument is you’re still not convinced that this is a business critical decision. And don’t confuse mobile responsive with mobile first - there is a big difference, particularly when it comes to results.
Five numbers to remember when designing a mobile-optimised recruitment website
When thinking about a recruitment website design project, it’s important to realise how critical the device your audience is seeing it through is. These days, consideration of responsive look and feel is an absolute must: responsive design has already crossed boundaries and changed perceptions recruiters have about the manner in which candidates consider jobs and apply for them.
Volcanic adds another industry-leading CRM to it's suite of integrations
As we continue to ensure that we are offering the best recruitment website technology to our clients, we have recently added another industry-leading CRM provider to our suite of technology integrations.
Access Recruitment CRM - formerly known as RDB - is a recruitment client and candidate relationship database to manage assignments, contacts and clients and quickly match the right candidate to each brief faster than anyone else.
So how does the Volcanic & Access Recruitment CRM integration work?
Jobs will transfer from Access Recruitment CRM to your Volcanic website. As you publish new jobs within Recruitment CRM they will automatically appear on your website. As jobs are removed or expired within Recruitment CRM they will automatically be removed or expired from your website. This is a critical function as Google will penalise websites that continue to index expired jobs.
When candidates register or apply for jobs on your website, their data will be sent directly into your Recruitment CRM account. No need to manually load candidate data received via email - cutting down on admin, safeguarding data and saving you time.
For more information about this integration, please contact email@example.com.
